1. Data Collection

We collect: account information (email, display name via Google OAuth), usage data (videos created, points consumed), and technical data (IP address, browser type, device info). We estimate your country/region from your IP address for usage statistics and abuse prevention, using IP geolocation data by DB-IP (db-ip.com, CC BY 4.0).

2. Data Usage

Collected data is used to: provide and improve services, process payments, send service notifications, and prevent abuse. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. For customer support, content moderation and service quality, authorized staff may view the works you create (videos, images and AI anime projects).

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services: Supabase (auth & database), Lemon Squeezy (payments), Cloudflare R2 (file storage), Google Analytics (website analytics), Anthropic/OpenAI/FAL.ai/Replicate (AI processing). These services have their own privacy policies.

4. Data Security

We employ industry-standard security measures including encrypted transmission (HTTPS) and secure data storage. However, absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

5. Cookie Policy

We use essential cookies for login sessions and language preferences. Google Analytics uses analytical cookies to help us understand site usage. You can manage cookies in your browser settings.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights or for privacy inquiries, please contact us at support@reelforgehq.com.

7. Google & YouTube API Services

When you choose to connect a YouTube channel, ReelForge uses YouTube API Services. Connecting is optional and only happens after you approve it on Google's consent screen. We request only the following permissions:

  • youtube.upload — to upload a video to your channel only when you click publish, using the title, description, tags, and visibility you choose.
  • youtube.readonly — to read your channel ID and channel name so we can show which channel is connected. We do not read, modify, or delete your other videos, comments, playlists, or subscriptions.

We store your OAuth access token and refresh token (encrypted with AES-256-GCM) together with your channel ID and name, solely to perform the uploads you request. When you disconnect YouTube in Settings, we revoke the authorization with Google and delete these tokens and channel details from our database.

We do not sell Google user data, share it with third parties, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models. It is sent only to Google/YouTube to complete your uploads.

ReelForge's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

You can also revoke ReelForge's access at any time from your Google Account security settings. Google's use of your information is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
